Type 1 - The Perfectionist:
- In Stress: a Type 1 may exhibit characteristics of a Type 4, becoming more emotionally intense and critical of themselves and others.
- In Growth: a Type 1 may integrate qualities of a Type 7, becoming more spontaneous, optimistic, and open to new experiences.
Type 2 - The Helper:
- In Stress: a Type 2 may take on attributes of a Type 8, becoming more aggressive and controlling, and possibly disregarding their own needs.
- In Growth: a Type 2 may assimilate qualities of a Type 4, becoming more self-aware, independent, and in touch with their own emotions.
Type 3 - The Achiever:
- In Stress: a Type 3 may adopt characteristics of a Type 9, becoming more complacent and avoiding confrontation, potentially numbing their own desires.
- In Growth: a Type 3 may embody traits of a Type 6, becoming more cooperative, committed, and willing to acknowledge their fears and vulnerabilities.
Type 4 - The Individualist:
- In Stress: a Type 4 may display traits of a Type 2, seeking validation and attention, becoming more people-pleasing and dependent on others.
- In Growth: a Type 4 may integrate qualities of a Type 1, becoming more disciplined, focused, and able to channel their emotions in constructive ways.
Type 5 - The Investigator:
- In Stress: a Type 5 may exhibit characteristics of a Type 7, becoming more scattered and seeking distractions, possibly overindulging in activities or ideas.
- In Growth: a Type 5 may assimilate qualities of a Type 8, becoming more assertive, self-confident, and engaged with the world around them.

- In Growth: a Type 7 may embody traits of a Type 5, becoming more focused, introspective, and capable of depth and sustained attention.

- In Stress: a Type 8 may display traits of a Type 5, withdrawing emotionally and becoming more secretive, isolated, and intellectually preoccupied.
- In Growth: a Type 8 may integrate qualities of a Type 2, becoming more compassionate, considerate, and aware of the needs and feelings of others.

- In Stress: a Type 9 may take on attributes of a Type 6, becoming more anxious, worried, and seeking reassurance from others.
- In Growth: a Type 9 may assimilate qualities of a Type 3, becoming more focused, ambitious, and action-oriented, able to prioritize their own goals and desires.
